Good video, Mr. Zahler. I particularly agree with the three new people I’ve gotten to know, Becky, Geneva, and Paul, who all are awesome. Well, Paul is just SORTA OK, but whatever.

  2. Becky Says:

Good job, Andrew! I also agree with what you had said. This competition has definitely made me more aware of what I put in my mouth, and that I really need to learn how to cook! And good job with having intrinsic motivation, I sure wish I did!

  3. Geneva Says:

Nice job. There is no way you or Andrew are going out now! Really you are better off staying in it. All i am eating again is my ingredients, plus a bunch of wine and things like salad dressings made with olive oil. There just might be a trophy for you “winners”.

  4. Geneva Says:

*that was you or Paul, sorry about typo. *I will agree with getting to know new people, which is 5 no 6 (I will include Mariah b/c I really haven’t known her since 3rd grade). Not to mention all of your online friends/contributers. And of course my favorite Alison, who I only know by the taste of cheesecake.

Just saw that Paul is out. That means if you make it until midnight you are a winner! And that is in part b/c you trained before the competition.

  5. Mark Says:

I also agree with your reasons for staying in it. I think if I would have had more interesting ingredients, I might have been able to stick with it until the end.

It has been great getting to know all of you through this challenge.

Andrew, kudos to you for being the sole survivor! I will see you tonight at Far West to count down to your 12:01 beer (or drink).

  6. Andrew Says:

Thanks everybody. Just more than four hours to go and I’m still going strong! My last 7vs7 dinner: spinach, broccoli and peanuts stir-fried in peanut oil over rice. Yes!!!!
